Ive always started with the band around my neck/trap and push down with my hands and foot to get the band in position. Then i put my other foot on the band and adjust accordingly. Sometimes i have a loaded barbell in front of me to do rdl/gms, other times its behind me to do barbell hack squats, and sometimes i have dumbbells on the side to do farmer squats. I like having the combo of both resistance types for exercise variety.

I include split squats in every leg workout, it’s an awesome lower body exercise. I do the second option you mentioned and hold on to something while I do it because I have balance issues

Great tips as usual! I'm currently using all of the styles you showed, combining bands and kettlebells. Very good suggestion to place the band over one shoulder; that leaves an hand free for handling also a kettlebell or dumbell.

Just found your channel i like what i see, but i have to ask this question do you just workout with just bands no free weights because dude your an absolute beast!!! I agree free weights do beat up your body been using them for decades, but looking to switch to bands i just turned 50 looking for something easier on the joints. Good video brother
Thanks man, I appreciate it! I train with Free weights, bands, machines, and whatever other tools I find that are efficient and effective for building muscle. My philosophy is to use all the tools available to build muscle.

Workouts should be uncomfortable.
There's a difference between discomfort in your muscles and not being able to finish your reps because of pain in your hands! It's a similar concept to using wraps to help you get more solid reps out of your heavy barbell/dumbbell training!

Here’s how to do pull ups: 1. Have partner/spotter (required) 2. Do 20 full range pull ups every single day How: while hanging on the bar you will do as many as you can alone, do not get off, ask your spotter to assist, you will cross your legs and then bend at the knees, your spotter will then lift from your shins relieving pressure much like a band would, and continue until you hit 20. Your partner will most likely have to increase the amount of force as you do your reps because of fatigue, use every bit of muscle you have to get every rep in.

The kneeling band crunch is one that I'd forgotten about. It very closely resembles the vertical ab crunch machine I used to use when I went to Anytime Fitness. Thank you for reminding me! I'll definitely be attacking those. And although I like the ab cart rollout motion, I'm just not quite sure my shoulder would enjoy it as much...(2 previous rotator cuff surgeries on same shoulder). But yeah, I remember using the ab wheel back in the day & I liked the way that motion had targeted pretty much the entire body. Awesome exercise to add in there! Idea: A band carabiner attachment that can slide onto any bar (Olympic size diameter) with weight plates that allows you to use bands with any bar, whether it be a standard barbell or EZ curl bar. It i think it would be beneficial to have an easier way to add bands to any bar without having to buy a whole new bar. You would be able to sell more of them too because they would easier to buy without being as big or expensive. Let me know what you think.

Yes agreed, which is why we designed the carabiner on the Nexus bar the way we did. We are currently testing prototypes, and I would expect to see a limited release of the product in the next 2-3 months.
Nice additional exercises. I will definitely be trying these out. That easy curl bar is also very nice. I'm sure a lot of people would like you to sell it.
